Introducing Multilingual Thesaurus 🇬🇧 ♾️ 🇦🇪

Training your AI to recognize custom profiles and labels has never been easier with Newsbridge’s built-in Thesaurus, and we’re excited to announce its latest upgrade:

…a multilingual makeover!

As a quick recap, the Newsbridge Thesaurus provides users with a comprehensive list of recognized profiles and associated labels among their media assets, as analyzed by AI. It also allows for manual uploads of unknown entities as needed.

Multi-layers of Detection = Multi-language Search

After taking our customers’ valuable feedback into account, we’re now delivering the most advanced and international-friendly thesaurus and search experience yet!

With this latest update, users can automatically search for both people and labels in multiple languages, retrievable via Wikidata.

They also have the option of multilingual configuration of customizable thesaurus profiles and labels as needed.

Multilingual Profile & Label Creation

Multilingual Profiles 💁🏻♀️ 🌎

Although the process of adding new profiles to the thesaurus is still the same, which includes the upload of 2-3 high quality facial images (if he or she is not already known in the wikidata database), the user now has the ability to add a profile’s name in multiple languages, as seen below (example: english and arabic):

This means that users are able to further train their AI, allowing for advanced detection and search in multiple languages.

Multilingual Labels 🏷️ 🌎

Just as with people, labels can also be added and translated to multiple languages within the thesaurus. In the example below, the label ‘sunrise’ and its corresponding description have been translated to french and will now exist as a fusional entity, detectible and searchable in either language.

Let’s Get Searching! لنبدأ البحث! 🔍

Once your desired people and labels are multilingually synchronized within the Thesaurus, they will then be easily searchable in both languages thanks to multilingual detection powered by Newsbridge’s signature Multimodal Indexing AI technology.

This latest update is especially advantageous for international teams, news agencies, or journalists that are working with multilingual content (i.e. speech-to-text in another language) and require advanced search and retrievability capabilities.

Happy searching!
