With complementary skills in broadcast engineering and big data, twin brothers Philippe and Frederic Petitpont start Newsbridge in 2016 to offer organizations new ways of delivering, collaborating and managing their exponential amounts of media rushes.
Newsbridge is accelerated by France Télévisions and TF1. The company develops components of its disruptive Multimodal AI indexing technology, with direct user feedback from both TV channels.
In the fall of 2018 the product officially starts its commercialization, now serving major international customers across the broadcast and sports industries, and brands.
In the summer of 2022, Newsbridge closes its Series A, backed by deep-tech VCs and business angels.
In April 2023, Newsbridge releases MXT-1, adding natural language descriptions of video sequences to its Multimodal AI indexing technology.
