The BFMTV / BFM IDF and RMC SPORT channels have launched a new, joint platform to monetize their video archives.
Powered by AI & Cloud Media company, Newsbridge, the BFM Video marketplace features 150,000 videos. Alongside the latest French, international and sports news is footage from as far back as 2005.
Another 100 videos will be added each week and made available to purchase.
Head of the Archive Department at BFM TV, Morgane Marquette, said:
“The BFM Video platform is designed for audiovisual professionals seeking to elevate their projects - be they TV news packages, documentaries, web series, fiction or cinema. All content is indexed by our documentalists and grouped into intelligent ‘Collections’ using Newsbridge’s innovative Multimodal AI technology. This ensures that even the most time-pressed users will be able to quickly find the footage they’re looking for.”
Newsbridge Co-Founder and CEO, Philippe Petitpont, commented:
“We’re excited to be helping BFM TV to showcase its rich video archive, and unlock a new source of revenue for the business. Organizations are increasingly looking for ways to boost the ROI on their media assets. The Newsbridge Cloud Media Hub and white label Media Marketplace makes this possible.”
BFM TV’s archives are available now at www.bfmvideo.fr
